Tickets for the party will be available at the door on the night of for $30.

Intention V is a five-day participatory retreat/conference that brings people together for lots of phat original electronic music, dance and movement, workshops, performances, community building, ritual, good food, and above all, learning and exploration. This year, over 160 people have already registered. Please note that because of advance booking requirements with YMCA, it will not be possible to register at the door for the gathering...only for the New Year's Eve party.

It all takes place at YMCA camp Elphinstone with heated cabins and dining hall, set in the coastal rainforest on the shores of Howe Sound on the Sunshine Coast near Gibsons, BC. Intention V will run from Sunday December 28th to Friday, January 2nd, and costs $170 CDN for five days, meals included, ($150 if you registered on or before December 7th).

The entire event is realized by volunteers. All attendees intentionally/conciously create an experience for each other. Everyone is invited to participate by hosting a workshop, performing, DJ'ing, bringing something to make the space more magical or comfortable - your imagination is the limit.

Energetically, Intention is a grounding point, a touchstone for closure at the end of the year. It is a space where we can release the dying winter season, survey the darkness in the sleeping world, and release inner shadows by sharing the rebirth of the new year with our friends and family. It is a space created to share what we have learned in the past year, set intentions for the coming year, and bond as a community.

Detailed information about Intention planning and how to get involved can be found in the "Hive" in the Intention V forum.

Advance planning for the event occurs in various organizational pods with different areas of responsibility. If you have ideas about something you'd like to do, make, perform, help with, bring to the event, or see happen, you are invited to contact the various pod coordinators directly.
