WHERE IS CRYSTAL CREEK:This property is on the edge of Mount Elphinstone on hte Sunshine Coast B.C
Walking/hitching:.
- From downtown Vancouver take the Georgia St. bus stop at Granville St. (in front of The Bay) and catch the #257 Horseshoe Bay Express bus. When you arrive at the ferry terminal take the Langdale ferry.
- 40 minutes later, you will arrive on the Sunshine Coast. - Walk off the ferry and take the local transit bus. In Roberts Creek, the bus might travel along Lower Rd. or along the highway. If it goes along Lower Rd. get off at the Gumboot Café. If it goes along the highway get off at Roberts Creek Rd. Ask the driver, they’re very friendly!
- From this point you can choose to hitchhike up to Crystal Creek. Shuttle services uncofirmed at this moment. If you’re hitchhiking, it should be fairly easy, just head up the mountain (see car directions for exact location).

Driving:
- Go to the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal
- Take the ferry to Langdale (make sure you get on the right boat as 3 different ones leave from this terminal).
- Drive off the ferry and follow the traffic up the big hill.
- After a couple of lefts and rights, make a right at the traffic lights and follow traffic through Gibsons.
- You’ll drive another 12 km further on this highway.
When you reach Roberts Creek Rd, turn right and head up to Crystal Creek
- Follow the road (it’s now Lockyer Rd.) up the mountain until it splits in two; right will continue pavement and straight will be a gravel road.
- Take the gravel road.
- You’ll drive a further 10 minutes along the gravel road, crossing two small bridges. Crystal Creek is right after the second bridge, you’ll see the front gate and lots of cars parked.
Parking is available after you pass the front gate, on the right side of the road only. There will be signs and volunteers to help direct you. From the front gate it is only a ten minute walk to the site.
