Sacred plants and the old ways belong together.
Kykeon at Eleusis. Soma in the Vedas. The witch's flying ointment. The sacred mushroom of the Mazatec night. For most of human history the sacrament and the rite were one thing. Tribal Harmonix is a community of witches, pagans and polytheists rebuilding that bridge: carefully, reverently, and with both feet on the earth.

Words from the lineage
Happy is he among men upon earth who has seen these mysteries.Homeric Hymn to Demeter
Paganism gives the medicine a home. The medicine gives paganism its fire back.
Modern psychedelic culture has the molecule but often no map, no elders, no calendar and no gods. Modern paganism has the map, the Wheel, the circle and the gods, and has sometimes forgotten that its ancestors drank, ate and anointed their way across the hedge.
We think each tradition answers the other's hardest question. Where do you put an experience that cracks you open? In a circle, under a moon, inside a year that has a shape. How do you make a rite more than words? You remember what the rite was for.
Tribal Harmonix is neither a church of one sacrament nor a psychedelic club with candles. It is a fellowship: people who meet by the moon and the sabbats, keep a code of conduct, train sober wardens, give back to the cultures these plants came from, and treat the journey as a sacred act that begins long before the cup and ends long after.
Four things we do, year after year
Borrowed, gratefully, from the best of the psychedelic nonprofits and the oldest pagan federations.
Honour the lineages
We study where the sacraments come from, name the people who kept them, and give money and silence back where it is owed.
The Library →Hold safe circles
Every rite has a sober warden, a spoken consent agreement, an exit, and a plan for the morning after.
The Path →Keep the calendar
Full-moon esbats, dark-moon integration circles, eight sabbats, and the Mysteries at the autumn equinox.
Gatherings →Tell the truth about risk
Harm reduction is a religious duty here. Interactions, contraindications, the law, and when to call for help.
Safety →Happy is he among men upon earth who has seen these mysteries; but he who is uninitiate and has no part in them never has a lot of like good things once he is dead, down in the darkness and gloom. Homeric Hymn to Demeter, on the Mysteries of Eleusis, where initiates drank the kykeon for nearly two thousand years
Eight gates. One of them is open right now.
The Wheel is what the psychedelic world is missing: a shape for the year that tells you when to go down, when to rest, when to dance and when to give back.
Some sabbats we keep sober by custom. Some we keep with the sacrament. The Mysteries at Mabon are the heart of our year, and Yule is a night of fire and song with nothing stronger than spiced apple juice in the cup. Click any spoke to read how we hold it.
Coming up on the calendar
Full-moon circles are open to anyone who has read the code of conduct. Dark-moon circles and sabbat rites are for members. All times are shown in your own time zone.
